A research discussion on “The Benefits of Doing or Engaging in Research” was successfully conducted by Dr. Roshan Thotagamuge, Senior Lecturer, Department of Nano Science Technology, Faculty of Technology, Wayamba University of Lanka, in the presence of the Very Rev. Dr. Sylvester Ranasinghe, Rector and Vice Chancellor, Aquinas College of Higher Studies, on Friday, 10th May 2024, with the participation of about 100 undergraduates of different disciplines at Aquinas College of Higher Studies. This was the basis for organizing a separate workshop for undergraduates, and the importance of being a researcher and its benefits were clearly explained at this session.
